County, City, State law enforcement investigating body found in Brookings County

On Tuesday, August 8th, the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office and Brookings Police Department and South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation began a death investigation in Brookings County.
Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring would not say whether it was male or female.
No other details have been released at this point and the incident is still under investigation.
