Added information:  For those wondering about the lack of gloves in the vaccine photo, the following information from Brookings Health: The CDC says shots that are given intramuscularly (like these) can be given without gloves with proper hand hygiene. In fact, the CDC recommends doing it without gloves. According to Brookings Health, among those administering the vaccine by this method are the Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic. This method also conserves much-needed glove supplies.
