Dell Rapids man identified as person killed in crash near Tyndall

A Dell Rapids man has been identified as the person who died Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash 10 miles northwest of Tyndall.
An SUV driven by 43-year-old Jose Valera Diaz was westbound on S.D. 46. He failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection with S.D. 37 and his vehicle was T-boned by a southbound semi truck and trailer.
Diaz sustained fatal injuries.
The driver of the semi received minor injuries.
