Four COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Friday, the total is now 2281.
Active cases in Brookings County decrease by one to 112. Five new cases reported, raising the total to 5211. Recovered cases are at 5060. There have been 39 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 206 to 6496. Total cases are up by 521 to 159,343. There are 150,566 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations hold at 233.
Sixty-eight percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
