Four COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Wednesday, raising the total to 2253.
Active cases in Brookings County decrease by three to 117. Five new cases reported, raising the total to 5162. Recovered cases are at 5006. There have been 39 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 149 to 5662. Total cases are up by 520 to 156,123. There are 148,208 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations decrease by 15 to 187.
Sixty-eight percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
