Garage, Vehicle Damaged in Fire

Lewes, East Sussex, England. Lewes Bonfire Night, Novermber 5th 2014. This annual parade occurs on November 5th each year to celebrate the date of the uncovering of the Gunpowder Plot in 1605 and also commemorates the 17 Protestants who were burned at the stake in Lewes between 1555-1557 during the reign of Mary I. Flaming barrels and torches are paraded through the streets watched by huge crowds.
Fire damages a garage and a vehicle — it happened yesterday afternoon, shortly after 4pm at a residence on 455th Avenue near 216th Street.
The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call and found smoke arising from a garage; inside a pickup truck was on fire. The residents of the home were not present at the time.
Emergency units were able to extinguish the blaze. The Arlington Fire, Brookings Fire, Aurora Fire, Bruce Fire, Elkton Fire, Sinai Fire, Volga Fire, and White Fire Departments also responded. The Sheriff’s Office estimates total damage at $15,000.
