It is Election Day in Brookings with a City Council race on the ballot

Today is Election Day in Brookings. There is a race for City Council as three men are running for two seats.
Incumbents Wayne Avery and Nick Wendell are being challenged by Al Austreim.
You may vote today at any one of three vote centers: the Brookings Activity Center, Bethel Baptist Church and the Holy Life Tabernacle Church.
There were 765 votes cast in early voting. That’s a bit behind the January special election which saw a total voter turnout of 15%.
Polls are open until 7:00 o’clock tonight. We’ll have the results right here as soon as they’re available tonight.
