King Joins Brookings Health System Foundation Board
Brookings, S.D. – July 25, 2022 – Retired Physician Assistant Rod King recently joined Brookings Health System Foundation’s board of directors. He was elected at the May 12 board meeting to serve a two-year term through December 2023.
King served the Volga community for over 30 years as the primary care provider at the local clinic, now operated by Brookings Health System as Volga Medical Clinic. During the same time, he also worked as a clinic provider at Avera Medical Group Brookings. As an experienced healthcare provider, King brings to the Foundation board his medical knowledge and passion for giving back.
“I’ve seen the positive impact of the Brookings Health System Foundation and the helpful resources it has provided our local community and surrounding area,” said King.
King replaces long-time Foundation board member Joanie Holm, CNP. Holm served Brookings Health System Foundation as a board member for the maximum of four, two-year terms.
