Leah Brink seeks reelection to the Brookings City Council

Incumbent Council Member Leah Brink has filed for reelection. That means there will be at least one contested seat as three people have now filed for the two, three-year terms.
Incumbent Holly Tilton-Byrne as well as Bonny Specker have also filed for the positions.

In addition, Wayne Avery is seeking the two-year council seat and Brianna Doran has filed for the one-year seat.

Two candidates have filed for Brookings School Board. Teri Johnson and Teresa Binkley have both turned in their petitions. The seats are currently held by Melissa Heermann and Van Fishback. Heermann is running for the state House.

February 25th is the deadline for school board and council candidates to file.
