A Brookings man is injured in a motorcycle-deer accident.
The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office says it happened yesterday morning around 8:30am when 22-year old James Cote was riding his motorcycle on 459th Avenue, near 213th Street. A deer entered the roadway and Cote was unable to avoid the collision.
Cote was transported by private party to Brookings Hospital for treatment. Damage to the bike is estimated at $700.
