Name released in last week’s Deuel Co. fatal crash

A 68-year-old Toronto, South Dakota woman died Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Deuel County.
Nancy L. Meyer was driving a southbound car on SD 15 when she lost control on icy roads and slid across the center line directly in front of a semi truck.
The front of the semi hit the passenger side of the car. Both vehicles went into the ditch. Meyer was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi was not hurt. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
