Names released in Marshall County sprayer boom death

One person died Friday afternoon in a crash involving a piece of farm equipment five miles Northeast of Langford.
According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, 45-year-old Michael Patton of Andover was standing next to a semi truck and trailer when he was struck by the boom of a field sprayer. The boom also struck the trailer of the semi.
The field sprayer was being operated by 21-year-old Anna Huggett of Long Prairie, Minnesota. She was not injured.
