WHITE, SD (9-28-26) — The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of intentional damage to a vehicle.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 300 block of West Main Street in White shortly after 9:40 p.m. on September 26. The owners of a blue 2010 Ford Escape report having been parked for several hours to attend a nearby event. Upon returning, they found the car’s windshield had been struck by an object, causing approximately $300 damage.
The incident is under investigation by the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office. Law enforcement is asking area residents to check surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activity.
