BROOKINGS COUNTY (10-23-26) — A 40-year old Toronto woman is injured in a two-vehicle accident.
The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office says it happened October 22 shortly before 7:30 p.m. on 214th Street near 478th Avenue. Sheriff’s deputies say a semi driven by 68-year old Jerome Kaiser of White failed to yield the right of way to an SUV driven by 40-year old Kari Quail of Toronto.
The Sheriff’s Office says Quail was taken to Brookings Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries and Kaiser was issued a citation for Failure to Yield Right of Way at Intersection.
The incident remains under investigation by the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
