No COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Monday. The total remains 2022.

Active cases in Brookings County hold at 4. There are no new cases, the total remains 4231. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County and there are 4190 recovered cases. The County is in the “moderate” community spread category.

Statewide, active cases go down by 24 to 242. Total cases increase by 14 to 124,273. There are 122,009 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations increase by 3 to 40.

Fifty-five percent of the state has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Some 660,044 vaccinations have been administered in the state to 354,727 people. A total of 26,517 doses have been given in Brookings County to 14,501 people.
