Active cases in Brookings County increase by 28 and are at 163. Thirty-two new cases reported Wednesday, bringing the total to 4512. Recovered cases are at 4312. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category
Statewide, active cases increase by 335 to 5370. Total cases are up by 579 to 132,837. There are 125,398 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations increase by 13 to 229.
Sixty-two percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
