Officer-involved shooting in Sturgis under investigation

An officer-involved shooting in Sturgis during the 83rd annual motorcycle rally is under investigation.
The incident involved a highway patrol trooper who shot and wounded a male near the Interstate 90 Exit 32 interchange. It happened just after 10:00 o’clock Wednesday morning.
The trooper was not hurt and the condition of man who was shot was not released.
South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says the Division of Criminal Investigation will review the shooting and issue a report within 30 days.
Jackley confirmed the man who was shot was still alive.
