One man killed, another injured in head-on collision in Marshall County

One person died and another person was injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash east of Britton in Marshall County.
Names have not been released pending notification of family.
According to the Highway Patrol, a pickup was eastbound on South Dakota Highway 10 when it entered the westbound lane and collided head-on with a westbound car.
The 83-year-old man driving the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. The 18-year-old male driver of the car sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Aberdeen hospital.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
