Outside foul play not suspected in Brookings fire and death

One person is found dead inside a Brookings residence while Brookings Fire Department crews were fighting a fire.
Police Detective Adam Smith says the call came shortly after 5:00 o’clock Saturday morning. There was a fire in a mobile home on the 500 block of 12th Street South and the body of a deceased female was discovered.
Smith says they do not suspect outside foul play.
The home was a total loss.
