Parker man sentenced for manslaughter in death of infant

A Parker man has been sentenced to six-years in prison with another 14-years suspended suspended after earlier pleading guilty to First Degree Manslaughter in the 2022 death of an infant.

Twenty-six-year-old Phillip Delaney was sentenced Wednesday in Turner County Circuit Court. As part of a plea bargain, all other charges were dropped.

The infant died of injuries received at a home in Parker in September, 2022.
