Reed to seek reelection to District 7 State Senate

District 7 Republican State Senator Tim Reed of Brookings says he will seek reelection to that post. He has filed his nominating petitions with the Secretary of State.
After serving six years in the State House of Representatives, Reed is completing his first term in the State Senate.
In that time, he has served on several committees. For the past two sessions, he
served as chair of the Senate Local Government Committee.
Thus far, Reed is the only candidate to file or announce for the office.
