Seven COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Thursday, raising the total to 2260.
Active cases in Brookings County increase by one to 118. Eight new cases reported, raising the total to 5170. Recovered cases are at 5013. There have been 39 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 120 to 5782. Total cases are up by 441 to 156,564. There are 148,522 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations decrease by 14 to 173.
Sixty-eight percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
