Six COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Friday, the statewide total is now 2398.
Active cases in Brookings County increase by one to 226. Four new cases reported Friday. The total is now 5510. Recovered cases are at 5243. There have been 41 deaths reported in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by four to 7692. Total cases increase by 448 to 171,248. There are 161,158 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations decrease by nine to 261.
Sixty-six percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
