Teri Johnson files for Brookings School Board

A second candidate files for Brookings School Board. Teri Johnson is seeking one of the two seats up for election this year. Teresa Binkley filed earlier.

The seats are currently held by Melissa Heermann and Van Fishback. Heermann is running for the state House.

Four people have filed for the four available Brookings City Council seats. Holly Tilton-Byrne and Bonny Specker have filed for the two three-year terms. Wayne Avery is seeking the two-year council seat. Brianna Doran has filed for the one-year seat.

February 25th is the deadline for school board and council candidates to file.
