Thirteen COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Monday, the statewide total is now 2469.

Active cases in Brookings County are unchanged at 240. Thirteen new cases reported Monday. The total is now 5682. Recovered cases are at 5401. There have been 41 deaths reported in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.

Statewide, active cases increase by 134 to 7224. Total cases increase by 509 to 176,186. There are 166,493 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations increase by seven, rising to 244.

Sixty-seven percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
