Three COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Wednesday, the total is now 2297.
Active cases in Brookings County increase by 12 to 110. Sixteen new cases reported, raising the total to 5249. Recovered cases are at 5100. There have been 39 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 129 to 6663. Total cases are up by 482 to 161,474. There are 152,514 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations increase by three to 239.
Seventy-percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
