Two COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota as active cases continue to fall

Two new COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Tuesday, the total is now 1261.

Active cases in Brookings County have dropped by 36 to 291. Total cases are up by 5 to 2735. There have been 24 deaths in Brookings County and there are 2420 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 94. The County is in the substantial community spread category.

Statewide, active cases dropped by 1104 to 11,519. Total cases have gone up by 345 and are now at 91,699. The number of people who have recovered is 78,919. Current hospitalizations have decreased by 6 and are at 435.
