Two COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Tuesday. The total is now 2074.
Active cases in Brookings County decrease by two and are at 181. Nine new cases reported Tuesday, bringing the total to 4550. Recovered cases are at 4332. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category
Statewide, active cases increase by 212 to 6182. Total cases are up by 453 to 134,308. There are 126,052 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations decrease by 17 to 213.
Sixty-two percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
The numbers for the three-day holiday weekend will not be included until Wednesday’s report.
