Young woman driving a golf cart killed in Roberts County crash

One person died Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash southeast of New Effington in Roberts County.
The South Dakota Highway patrol reports a golf cart was driving westbound near mile marker State Highway 127. The golf cart crossed the center line and collided with an eastbound pickup.
The 19-year-old female driver of the golf cart died at the scene.
The 70-year-old male driver of the pickup pickup and a 69-year-old female passenger were not injured. They were both wearing seatbelts.
Names not been released pending notification of family.
